Rent or buy Steamboy and Final Fantasy VII- Advent Children. Seriously good stuff. CGI and animation are getting so good these days that if was a live actor I'd be very paranoid.
For any who care, I just ran across a comment at the site Samizdata which clears up a puzzle that has troubled me for years- what is the frickin' singer singing in the lead title to Stand Alone Complex- a song called 'Inner Universe' by Yoko Kanno (yup just fire up LimeWire)-
The song is indeed (a TV edit of) the "Inner Universe" theme from the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex anime series, as davetheweatherman pointed out, composed by Yoko Kanno and sung by Origa.
Congratulations on your good taste in music.
