Yikes! Almost done...
The move to Mobile is almost done; only the agonizing last efforts are required. I have trashed more of my past than I ever thought would happen- but when reality confronts you have to decide what is important and what is not it tends to sharpen the mind. Talked with my oldest sister today, something I had not done in more than half a decade; I learned of her travails and how oddly she found me again through this blog. Funny how life works.
Funny how my tagline is "Nuggets of Information and Idiocy from Georgia" Because it will soon be "Nuggets of Information and Idiocy from Alabama" and my credibilty will go down- even us rubes in Atlanta look down on the rubes in Alabama. How unfair. Smyrna (where I live) is almost totally taken over by the Hispanics moving in; truth to tell, where I live has long been the divide between Juarez and Nairobi.
On to Mobile and I think it is one of the best things that has happened to me- no more 8-way drive-by's, no more race pimps (at least at the level I've had to endure here), and I won't have to learn Spanish.
